Key Terms Being AcceptedWeekly rent is due every 7 days with no grace period. A missed payment triggers a minimum $50 late fee and may place the rental in default. Only authorized drivers may operate the vehicle. The renter is responsible for the vehicle while it is in the renter’s possession, including tickets, tolls, towing, impound, storage, misuse, loss, and damage, subject to applicable Michigan law and the complete agreement.
The refundable deposit may be applied to authorized charges. The renter agrees to promptly report accidents, theft, damage, or police contact and to cooperate with claims and recovery. The renter acknowledges a $1,000 damage-responsibility amount as stated in the full agreement; this is not a promise that liability can never exceed or be less than that amount where law, insurance, exclusions, intentional conduct, or the facts require otherwise.
